Herefordshire Environment Board

The Herefordshire Environment Board was established in early 2026 and is comprised of volunteer expert representatives from across the county.

The Environment Board will provide strategic leadership and oversight to deliver the Strategic Vision for Herefordshire. It will coordinate, monitor and report on action across climate, nature recovery, and river catchment management, ensuring alignment with statutory obligations and community aspirations

The Board's vision is for "A thriving, resilient, zero-carbon and nature-rich Herefordshire where ecosystems flourish, communities are empowered, and sustainable land and water management underpin climate and biodiversity resilience".
