Our focus is to provide information and raise awareness of ecological issues and legislation. We work either directly or in partnership with environmental organisations, local communities, landowners, developers and consultants.

Biodiversity Duty Report - January 2023 to December 2025
Herefordshire Council has a statutory duty to consider biodiversity in the exercise of its functions under Section 40 of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities (NERC) Act 2006, as amended by the Environment Act 2021. This is Herefordshire Council’s first Biodiversity Duty Report, reporting from January 2023 to December 2025. The next report will be published within five years of the date of issue of this report.
